start when your tattoo is done.
The artist will clean your tattoo again with antibacterial soap to clean all excess plasma and blood and let it dry for 10-15 minutes before cover your tattoo with an aftercare film. you can keep the film on for 24 – 36 hours.
Aftercare film There can be some fluid inside the film, and some area where a liquid leaks out, don’t worry little leak will be alright, keep it clean with tissue and keep it dry.
If it does swell up, turn really red, feel really painful, you should remove the film immediately wash your tattoo with water and let it dry. If the redness continue then you should contact an artist or a doctor, because you may have some allergic reaction to something but in this case is very rare.
Peel it off Run a warm water and peel it off slowly, really slowly. Make sure you don’t peel it off too fast, if you do it possible that some of a tattoo scab or ink will come out as well.
Gently Clean it with water only, and avoid soap or shampoo touching a tattoo area. Make sure you don’t feel like slimy anymore.
Dry with clean paper towel, keep it dry, so no water activities or any sweaty exercises until your tattoo is fully heal.
After removing you film if you still have some glue on your skin, you can use a coconut butter or hustle butter to remove it.
Avoid expose your tattoo to sunlight. (Even when your tattoo is fully heal, avoid a direct sunlight will keep your tattoos bright even 10 or 15 years)
No need to apply creams or moisturizer at this stage.
Moisturizer At this stage There can be a scab, do not pick or scratch.
Your skin can be really dry so you should start cover your tattoo with a thin layer of moisturizer 2-3 times a day.
From this day your tattoo should be almost fully heal. Keep on putting moisturizer on, but for now can be once a day.
If you feel like your skin is really dry then you can keep using moisturizer for a while.
